Greetings from the Navajo Nation in northern Arizona!

Inscription House Health Center (IHHC) is a very busy rural clinic located in an isolated, medically underserved part of the Navajo Nation. IHHC is a federal/Indian Health Service facility. Our part of the reservation is also the most traditional and many of our patients only speak the Dine language. Thankfully, many of our care team members also speak the Navajo language and are able to act as interpreters during patient encounters. Our patient population is around 7000 and we average about 20,000 patient visits per year. We see a lot of pathology here so it would be a great place to hone clinical skills while caring for a needy population. Student loan repayment is available. We see patients only on an outpatient basis, 8-5, Monday through Friday and there is no call. Patient care takes place either in our Urgent Care department or in one of our appointment-only clinics.
