About Us
OUR MISSION: TO PROVIDE EXCEPTIONAL HEALTH CARE TO OUR PATIENTS AND PROMOTE HEALTH AWARENESS THROUGH COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP
Salyersville Medical Center was established in 1996 in Magoffin County, Kentucky with the purpose of serving the health needs of a severely underserved rural health population. It is located in downtown Salyersville within city limits in an accessible area. It is staffed by a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner, a Physician Assistant, a part-time pediatrician, one RN, one Receptionist and an Office Manager. The clinic has eleven accessible exam rooms and a laboratory. EMR has been utilized since its inception in 1996. The clinic's policy is to emphasize prevention and patient education. The clinic is involved in many community affairs with schools and senior citizens. The staff volunteers with several community programs throughout the year.
