RHSC is a private non-profit corporation founded in June 1985 with a mission to provide quality, affordable healthcare to everyone.

Rural Health Services Consortium, Inc. operates eleven primary healthcare medical centers in Northeast Tennessee. These medical centers are located in Baileyton, Bluff City, Bulls Gap, Dry Creek, Hawkins, Kingsport, Limestone, Mountain City, Roan Mountain and Sneedville. In addition we have two school based clinics and two mobile units. The natural beauty of the area with mountains, lakes and national forests provides an abundance of recreational activities. The mountains temper the climate to produce four distinctive yet mild seasons-each with its own special beauty. As part of Appalachia, the people of Northeast Tennessee enjoy a proud and distinct culture. The past isolation of most communities developed a way of life-friendly, unhurried, cooperative and respectful, and it still exists today.
